Dr. MacKnight is the best selling author of two books written exclusively for the dental profession, and he lectures to dentists in the U.S. and internationally. He has one child, Eric, and his wife Carol has four children. Dr. MacKnight enjoys traveling, writing, computers, and various other activities. He is currently working on his private pilot's license. Dr. MacKnight and his wife Carol are involved in competitive dog shows with their two year old Tibetan Spaniel, Jay Trump. (nicknamed Bear). He is a grand champion currently ranked 9th in the country and has competed in the AKC National Championship and Westminster shows. Dr. MacKnight attends numerous continuing dental education courses and updates every year to always keep abreast of the latest advances in dentistry and offer his patients the most modern high quality care.
